The context: Early 2000's there is craze on sneakers graphics. Most sneaker brands especially in skateboarding are applying monograms mimicking luxury brands (LV, Gucci) on their sneakers. As a company we have to react to the trend. Instead of following the monograms bandwagon, I decided make DC Shoes logo the only graphic element on the shoes. Bold, and unmistakable.
